EmojiVault — Hide Text & Links Inside Any Emoji
EmojiVault hides any text or link inside an emoji using invisible Unicode characters — the emoji looks exactly the same, but the message travels with it. Paste an emoji back to reveal what is hidden inside. Free, in your browser, no signup.
Why use EmojiVault?
A link in a bio, a secret note in a chat, a call-to-action that looks like a single emoji — hidden text turns one character into a carrier. EmojiVault encodes your message into invisible variation-selector characters appended to the emoji, so the emoji stays an emoji everywhere it is pasted, while the text rides along unseen.
What it can do
Hide any text or link
Type a URL or any message and it is encoded into invisible Unicode characters appended after the emoji. The emoji looks unchanged — the text is simply there, hidden, until someone reveals it.
668 emojis, 10 categories
Pick from Faces, Hands, People, Hearts, Nature, Food, Activity, Travel, Objects and Symbols — 668 emojis in total — or paste your own emoji instead. The default carrier is the link emoji.
Copy a clickable link
Copy clickable link copies a real HTML link, so the emoji opens your URL in Gmail, Outlook, Docs and Word. A separate WhatsApp copy puts the visible link under the emoji, because WhatsApp cannot hold hidden links.
Reveal hidden text
Switch to the Read hidden text tab, paste any emoji, and the tool decodes the invisible characters back into the original message — or tells you plainly that no hidden text was found.
Smart URL handling
Full http(s) links are used as-is, bare domains like example.com get https:// added automatically, and anything that is not a URL is treated as plain hidden text instead of a link.
Private by design
Everything happens in your browser — no server, no account, no key. The emoji you create is yours to paste anywhere; nothing you type is uploaded.
How to use it
- Open the 'Hide text in emoji' tab and type your text or link.
- Add an optional label next to the emoji (up to 80 characters, for example 'Click here').
- Pick an emoji from the 10 categories, or paste your own, then click Create emoji.
- Copy it: as a clickable link, as the WhatsApp version, or as the emoji only.
- To read one back, open 'Read hidden text' and paste the emoji — the hidden message appears instantly.
Who is it for?
Built for marketers, creators and anyone who wants a link or a note to travel invisibly inside a single emoji — social bios, chats, comments and posts where a bare link looks ugly but one emoji fits perfectly.
Good to know
Some apps strip invisible characters when you share — test before sending anything important. WhatsApp cannot hold hidden links, so the WhatsApp copy puts the visible link under the emoji. And note: there is no search box — browse the 10 categories to pick your emoji.
Frequently asked questions
Is EmojiVault an emoji search tool?
No — it hides and reveals text inside emojis. You pick your emoji from 10 categories (668 emojis in total) or paste your own; there is no keyword search, because the tool's job is hiding text, not finding emojis.
How does hiding text inside an emoji work?
Your text is UTF-8 encoded and each byte is mapped to an invisible Unicode variation-selector character, appended right after the emoji. The emoji renders exactly as normal — the hidden characters are invisible — and the Read tab decodes them back into your text.
Will the hidden text survive sharing?
Usually, yes — but some apps strip invisible characters when a message is shared or reformatted. The tool warns you about this in its footer: test before sending anything important.
Why does WhatsApp get a different copy button?
WhatsApp cannot hold hidden links, so the 'Copy for WhatsApp' button copies the emoji plus the visible link underneath it. The clickable-link copy is for Gmail, Outlook, Docs and Word, where the hidden link works.
Can I hide any text, not just links?
Yes — any text at all. Links are special only because the result becomes a real clickable link; plain text simply hides and can be revealed again with the Read tab.
Is EmojiVault free?
Yes — free forever, no signup, no download. It runs entirely in your browser with no server, account or key.
